Welcome to CSXTSightings, founded in 2002 by fans of CSX Transportation. Our message archives include over 90,000 posts, photos and files dating back to day one.

The CSXTSightings group has members from many CSX regional groups around the system and sharing between groups is encouraged. The train you catch tonight in the rain could be another fans sunny daytime train somewhere down the line :-)

Members post are encouraged to share their observations anywhere on CSX such as foreign power, unusual/older/standard cab 'Heritage' power assignments, OCS and detour trains, unscheduled curfews, radio frequency changes, defect detector, signalling and the long anticipated PTC updates, CSX corporate news, detailed sighting lists and so on. But anything that might be of interest to fellow CSX fans is always welcome. This group is always evolving to meet the needs of our community and YOUR input will make a difference :-)

Most importantly PHOTOS. Our group welcomes your photos and video links or attachments. This means when you send an email to post to the group or post via the groups website you can attach a photo from your phone/camera/tablet etc directly to your e-mail message.

Please upload your CSX related photos to the group as attachments to your posts or to your personal album in the photo area.
